The One-City Approach to Public Safety

Mission:

With a focus on creating an informed citizenry through education, communication, and newfound transparency, the ultimate mission of the Citizen’s Alliance for Public Safety (CAPS) is to further blur the line between the public and the public safety professionals who serve them. We believe that Public Safety encompasses more than just the agencies and the community sharing information – we believe in working together to promote and engage the citizenry of Indianapolis daily and ensuring that we all understand that it “takes a city.”

We participate and volunteer in other projects as they relate to the common goal of the Alliance and the Public Safety Agencies within our city.
